Biographical Info

Lora McInturf is an ICF mentor coach, coaching supervisor, and executive coach holding credentials from the ICF (PCC) and EMCC (Senior Practitioner), with multiple supervision accreditations. Lora is passionate about supporting coaches to elevate their practice through ICF mentor coaching and professional supervision. She is equally passionate about supporting lawyers and other professionals to transform their careers and lives through executive coaching. Through thousands of hours of reflective and transformational conversations, she has worked with hundreds of coaches, lawyers, and other professionals across 55+ countries while working 100% virtually.

Lora offers ICF mentor coaching to ACC and PCC coaches, bringing a background of advanced trainings in ICF mentor coaching, the ICF ACC BARS and PCC Markers trainings, and her own credentialing journey through multiple coaching bodies (she is currently nearing the ICF MCC milestone). She understands the process to grow as a person and a professional in the coaching field and brings that lived experience to every mentor coaching relationship. Her sessions create a confidential, expansive space to examine coaching behaviors and presence against the ICF Core Competencies that can clarify the path to greater coaching competence alongside credentialing.

Sometimes ICF mentor coaching cannot go deep or broad enough, and that’s why Lora also offers coaching supervision to fill that space. As a triple-qualified supervisor, Lora works with coaches to identify their coaching practice risks and unlock more resources for the client work. Through collaborative, reflective, and creative conversations, she supports and challenges coaches to observe their working processes, address blind spots, contemplate ethical issues, and develop themselves further through their coaching experiences. Coaches working with Lora report higher self-awareness, greater consistency, sharper coaching, stronger relational skills, and deeper presence in the work.

Lora’s executive coaching approach is holistic and systemic, rooted in relationship, somatics, energy, and spirituality. In working with Lora, clients have succeeded in evolving their career direction, defining their leadership style, improving stress and working relationships, building executive presence, and transitioning into higher-level roles with greater confidence. Her work is both neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed.

Lora’s executive coaching client base includes professionals and entrepreneurs in coaching, law, tech, finance, accounting, and consulting, from global law firm lawyers to in-house counsel, executives, high potentials, and internationally mobile professionals and entrepreneurs.

Before becoming a coach, Lora practiced law in the investment management group of Linklaters LLP (Frankfurt) and the business and finance department with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP (Cincinnati). She holds a J.D., LL.M. (Law and Finance), and a Master of Professional Accountancy. She is also the author of two reflective writing journals for coaches.

Lora is an American living with her multicultural family in the Stuttgart, Germany area. She is also the founder of LCL (Lawyers Coaching Lawyers – International Network), WELLS (Women Expat Lawyers and Law Students), and IWEG (International Women Entrepreneurs – Germany).
