MCC, ACMC Mike Green LeadershipBiographical Info
Mike Green is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a registered Mentor Coach who enjoys supporting other professional coaches on their journeys toward their ACC and PCC Certifications. He is passionate about helping leaders and coaches break free from conventional thinking, embrace bold action, and transform their impact through experiential coaching and real-world challenges.
Mike brings over 33 years of global experience and more than 13,000 coaching hours. He has worked across 65+ countries and all seven continents, supporting professionals in high-risk industries, military, energy, aerospace, cybersecurity, and conservation sectors. As a Master NLP Practitioner and EQ-i/EQ-i 360 Certified Practitioner, he equips leaders with the self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and high-performance habits needed for lasting change.
Mike believes transformational growth comes from stepping into the discomfort of challenging assumptions to explore greater opportunities. He guides leaders and coaches to engage deeply, stretch beyond limits, and move forward into their highest potential.
Mike’s approach to coaching is both traditional and adventurous. Whether working one-on-one via Zoom from corporate boardrooms or guiding transformational sessions deep in the Alaskan bush, he meets clients where they are—literally and figuratively. His experiential style blends nature, narrative, and real-world challenges to create meaningful, lasting change. He helps clients move from routine to remarkable through clarity, courage, and powerful presence.
As an Advanced Certified Mentor Coach (ACMC), his approach to mentor coaching is grounded in authenticity, challenge, and insight. He supports coaches in aligning with ICF Core Competencies, expanding their confidence, and achieving deeper impact through reflective, experiential learning.
Mike has coached globally diverse clients, including executives, military leaders, and high-stakes professionals in energy, defense, and technology industries. He has served as an Executive Performance Coach and Leadership Facilitator for Saudi Aramco and consulted in extreme environments including Antarctica. His career blends high-level coaching with outdoor leadership, making his experiential approach both strategic and transformational. Clients include organizations such as the U.S. Department of Defense, Chevron, NOAA, Maersk Training, and Outward Bound.
Mike has also led transformational engagements for Saudi Aramco, Raytheon Polar Services, and others. His signature program—the Alaskan Personal Expansion Project for Coaches (APEP)—is a one-of-a-kind, ICF-accredited small-group experience offering 32 CCEs. Held near Denali National Park, APEP blends deep coaching work embodied through rugged adventure and reflection—with others on a shared journey—helping coaches push past personal and professional barriers in a powerful wilderness setting.
Mike is the author of Wandermust: A Hero’s Journey to Seven Truths (2023), exploring leadership, purpose, and personal growth. He is known for his experiential style, helping clients uncover their truths, lead with authenticity, and step boldly into transformation.
Based in Alaska, Mike lives adventurously with his family—hiking, hunting, fishing, and coaching leaders in wild, reflective places. His love for nature is woven into everything he does.
From Mike: Let’s connect! Whether you’re a coach seeking growth or a leader ready for transformation, I invite you to take the next step. Let’s explore what’s possible—together.
