Introducing the Advanced Anchors Mastery Program…

After more than three decades in the coaching profession and as one of the founders of the International Coaching Federation, I’m excited to share something close to my heart — the Advanced Anchors Mastery Program.
Advanced Anchors Mastery Program (AAMP) isn’t just another training program. It’s a personal invitation to join me in exploring what I’ve learned about the elegant connection where coaching science meets coaching artistry. Whether you’re coaching others, guiding new coaches through their credentialing journey, mentoring or supervising colleagues, this is my gift to you!
Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of coaches developing their skills. Technical competence, while essential, is only part of the equation. The coaches who truly transform lives — and find deep fulfillment in their work — are those who learn to integrate structure and spontaneity while skillfully applying the ICF Core Competencies and embracing their own authentic way of being.
As ICF Master Certified Coaches (MCC), we’re invited to demonstrate:
Through my years as an MCC and mentor coach, as well as an ICF MCC assessor, I’ve come to understand that the highest level of mastery happens when we stop thinking about the competencies as separate skills and start experiencing them as an embodied dance. I call this calibration “finding the sweet spot” where:
The SCIENCE provides our coaching foundation:
The ART brings the coaching alive:

One thing I’ve learned in my years of mentoring and assessing is that the most powerful coaches are those who’ve learned to express the competencies through their own unique personality and style. An MCC doesn’t follow a template — they bring their full humanity, i.e., their Beingness — to their coaching while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Utilizing AAMP, you’ll discover how to:
Have you ever wondered, “What really is the difference between PCC and MCC credentials?” or, “Will I really be able to feel the difference?” Regardless of where you are in your ICF credentialing journey, coaching mastery is a goal that one can envision but it really helps to know what it takes and how it feels to achieve that goal .
The Advanced Anchors Mastery Program (AAMP) presents the distinctions between the PCC and MCC coaching proficiencies that will be useful and applicable for you, regardless of where you are on your learning path. We’ll explore the core competencies that make up the MCC Behavioral Statements (aka “Anchors”) and how they are evaluated by ICF assessors using a Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS). Again, no matter where you are in your credentialing journey, you may as well begin practicing now instead of developing coaching practices, biases, and habits that may not support these nuanced skills. It’s always good to know where you’re going, so you’ll know when you get there, right?
AAMP is intended to be practical, as well as inspiring and empowering. This program is based on my own experience, growth path, biases, values, principles, and beliefs acquired during my 30+ years as a professional coach. Don’t expect any of this to be Universal Truth or the only path. I invite you to choose how you use this information to develop your own style and honor your own experience, values, principles, and beliefs. The information you get in this program will help you create your own truly rewarding path.
So, if you are:
Then, it’s never too early to deepen the learning and practice these defined behavioral skills that make up the Art and Science of Mastery as established by the ICF. Your clients will be empowered from your growing mastery in applying these skills.
Enroll in the self-paced Advanced Anchors Mastery Program today!

Achieving greater mastery means that you learn at a deep level that actually imprints those skills in a physical sense so that you can intuitively apply them with your clients. Thus, the clients are engaged in a deeper and more profound coaching experience. In this new self-paced audio program, I’ll lead you through the new ICF MCC Behavioral Statements (Anchors), the BARS evaluation criteria, and the distinctions that credentialing assessors look for in an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC).
As an ACC or PCC, you’ve been learning and mastering the skills of the coaching profession. If you are an aspiring MCC, I will help you learn to apply the skills and the art of coaching mastery. And, whether you coach others, supervise emerging coaches through their credentialing journey, or mentor those seeking advanced skill mastery, this program provides the information needed to understand the requirements to demonstrate ICF Behavioral Statements (Anchors) and how ICF MCC assessors evaluate what is required.
AAMP offers you the following:
Intimate Audio Learning – I’ve designed this as a conversation between us, with more than 25 hours of audio content that you can access whenever and wherever works for you. Think of it as having a series of one-on-one mentoring sessions with someone who’s been where you’re going.
Deep Dives into the ICF Anchors – Together, we’ll explore each MCC Behavioral Statements (Anchors), not just as a skill to master, but as a way of BEING in relationship with your clients. You’ll hear real examples from my own experiences and discover more about how to embody, enable, and allow intuitive mastery in yourself and others.
Mastering the New MCC Assessment Process – As someone who’s been part of the evolution of ICF credentialing, I’ll share what I’ve learned about the Behaviorally Anchored Rating System (BARS) evaluation system. We’ll explore what makes the difference between good and transformational.
If you’re ready to move beyond competent coaching to more masterful coaching, I invite you to engage in this program. It’s never too early to start preparing for your next professional level and learning the competencies required to achieve those credentials. Think of it this way: this AAMP program can help prevent you from developing coaching behaviors or habits that don’t serve your clients as well as you want. Learn what’s on the horizon for you and set your goals and your intentions to learn advanced techniques to make it easier to acquire that MCC credential — and beyond!
The Advanced Anchors Mastery program helps clarify the MCC competencies through coaching examples that deepen your understanding. It’s never too soon to begin learning about and practicing advanced MCC skills and the art of behavioral mastery. Give yourself the time to learn and then practice these competencies at your own pace. As your comprehension increases through using this coaching mentoring program, your confidence and skills increase.
You’ll be able to understand the distinctions between the PCC and MCC skill and knowledge levels with the clearly-defined information and examples provided in AAMP. Through listening to the live recorded coaching sessions and practicing the skills and knowledge you’re learning, the differences will become apparent.
As your skills increase, your confidence in working with your clients will be strengthened by the knowledge you’re acquiring. You’ll be empowered to help your clients focus more easily and go deeper through self-discovery.
You’ll find that your investment in coaching mastery and the information provided in AAMP will help you address your own professional challenges to breakthrough to new levels of competence and self-awareness. Personal insights and increased confidence in your professional competencies propel your own growth that is modeled and shared with your clients.

Hi, I’m Fran Fisher, Master Certified Coach. Join me for this exciting exploration into my new Advanced Anchor Mastery Program (AAMP), which provides in-depth learning about ICF’s Behavioral Statements (Anchors) and how these core competencies are evaluated to achieve coaching mastery. Strengthen your professional and personal competencies to reach your goals — and build your skills to empower clients in achieving theirs!
I will be your coaching guide, mentor, and program facilitator as we work together through the AAMP. I’ll share with you the insights, best practices, and my own brand of “mastery” that I continue to develop after 30+ years of coaching, training coaches, mentoring coaches, providing supervision, and assessing ICF exams at the PCC and MCC level.
Let me be clear, I don’t see myself as a “master” — except for my longevity and experience —because I am always striving for greater mastery, expanded skills, deeper listening, and embodying the art of coaching. Whether coaching or mentoring, I treasure the humbling learning journey it has been for me so far. And, I hope that your professional and personal growth experience will be equally rewarding!
I’ll share what I’ve learned to help you experience:
In addition, you’ll also…

Uta Komala Rohde, MCC, CPCC, ACMC
The Core Competencies are the fundamental competencies underlying ALL levels of the performance demonstrations for ACC, PCC, and MCC. The ICF performs periodic analyses of the competencies at all levels approximately every three years to determine if any competencies are no longer relevant and then revises when necessary. Three updates were announced in 2025: (1) the ICF Core Competencies, (2) the ICF ACC Behavioral Statements/Anchors, and (3) MCC Behavioral Statements/Anchors.
The ACC and MCC Behavioral Statements/Anchors are based on the Core Competencies in a specifically designed system used by the ACC or MCC Assessors for evaluation. The PCC Markers are the specifically designed system utilized by the PCC Assessors for evaluation.
AAMP offers advanced learning that builds on the foundational concepts provided in WWCM II (hereafter referred to as WWCM). See below for more information about the Wisdom Way Coaching Mastery (WWCM) Program, also available at www.franfishercoach.com.
WWCM focuses primarily on the ICF PCC Markers needed to demonstrate the skills and competencies required for successful PCC credential achievement. The library in WWCM provides recordings that demonstrate MCC-level coaching, so you have awareness of the MCC competencies that you aspire to. Distinctions between PCC and MCC expertise are introduced for clarity.

The AAMP program helps clarify the core skills you will need to achieve the MCC credentials. No matter where you are on your credentialing journey, you can start now to learn about and practice the greater skills expected of an MCC coach. This advanced learning will enhance your existing skills and perspective when working with clients now, and you will grow into the MCC skills so that when the time comes to submit your recordings and take the exam, the learning will already be internalized (embodied), and (hopefully) eliminating any coaching practices that do not meet ICF MCC standards. Additionally, you have 24/7 access to these advanced learning materials and can be confident that AAMP will be continuously updated with any ICF changes when they occur.
It depends on where you are on your learning path. If you are an ACC, for example, you might consider starting with WWCM. If you are a PCC, you might consider (1) deepening your learning and grounding yourself and your skills at the PCC level by starting with WWCM or (2) starting with AAMP to challenge your competence and confidence. If you have been a PCC or an MCC for several years, you might brush up on your competence using AAMP, so you are not slipping into the old comfort zones or limiting habits.
I recommend you pace yourself: listen, learn, apply. Don’t rush through. There are # of hours of audios, and # number of recordings in the AAMP library with feedback documents you can learn from. There are also numerous supplemental documents to study as well. Take your time and savor your shifting perspective as you learn more about MCC competencies.
ICF Resource Development (RD) credits focus on expanding your knowledge and tools beyond the ICF Core Competencies, contributing to your overall professional development, and qualifies without interactive instructions such as your self-paced learning.
ICF Continuing Coach Education Unit (CCEU) credits focus on deepening and enhancing your understanding and practice of the ICF Core Competencies through real-time interactive instruction or activities. So, submitting your quiz to me for evaluation of your understanding qualifies for interactive instruction CCEU credits.
The ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers have not basically changed. They were updated to align with current practices, the format changed, and the language has been updated in some instances. For example, the wording for the PCC marker “Creating Awareness” had changed to “Evoking Awareness.”
I update the WWCM program audios and resource materials to stay current with any ICF changes to the Core Competencies, PCC Markers, or MCC Skills Requirements. By purchasing the WWCM program, you acquire full, ongoing access to the WWCM program participants’ web page and the WWCM resources. You can visit the site at any time and download the most current versions of the WWCM audios and materials.
When you have completed listening to the audio chapters, send an email to Fran@franfishercoach.com requesting your AAMP certificate for the Resource Development (RD) credits. Then, download the AAMP Learning Self-Test (a Microsoft Word document) and complete the quiz. Email me the completed copy of the Self-Test as an attachment (be sure to keep a copy for your records), and I will send you a certificate for the applicable RD and CCEU credits.
When you purchase one of my training programs, you are added to my mailing list along with the program you have purchased. As an ICF mentor and assessor, I am notified when ICF is planning to make changes to any of its core credentials and training standards. And, I am committed to keeping my training programs updated and current with ICF standards so you will be current as well. I notify all program purchasers of any changes, edits, refinements, or enhancements to the programs you have purchased, and all of the downloadable resource materials that are included in your specific program are updated as well. You can simply revisit your account (using your email and password) and access anything new.
Fran’s coach mentoring program has elevated the quality of my coaching and mentor coaching. One of the many competencies I grew in was my ability to hold structure and sacred space for my clients in a more rigorous, powerful way. As a result, my clients consistently get greater value out of our sessions, and I can see the positive impact of my coaching growing. My investment in Fran’s program paid for itself and continues to pay dividends.
Marc Smith Sacks, PCC
